Beautification Committee

The Beautification Committee is giving away gift cards to Subway for the cleanest and most beautiful yards in town! 50 cards will be given away over a five week period into September.

We would like to thank Laurie Jones and Doni VanBuren for the beautiful flower pots around townand see all the beautiful flowers, gardens, and yards everywhere. We would like to challenge every citizen to a monthly project for beautification.

The month of June's goal was to clean the gutters in front of your yards.

The month of July's goal was to pick a spot in your yard to beautify, and beautify it. Many of the winning improvements did not require a lot of money, just a little time to clean up! We would love to see your before and after pictures! Email them to Ben Orgill, or bring a copy to the City Office and we will post them right here!

2012 Pic-A-Spot Contest

1st Place Winner! - Amy Marx

2nd Place Winner! - Robyn Rowley

3rd Place Winners! - Norman Schomisch & Cindy Alton

The month of August is to help someone in your neighborhood clean up a spot.

The month of September is a harvest fest – “Share the Bounty.” We will have a gathering where we will share the “fruits of our labors” by bringing a food item you have raised (maybe zucchini bread), etc. and share with everyone. We will keep you informed monthly with these challenges. Thank-You for making Orangeville a “pretty little place” to live!
